What's in a Name? (90 minutes)

Everyone who has ever called this island home has called her something different. To the Timucua, she was Nepoyca. The French named her the Ile de Mai. Spanish explorers honored her as Santa Maria. Finally, the English looked upon this island, saw a strong-willed princess, and declared: Amelia.
Climb on board with us and we'll travel through centuries of adventure, ambition, heartbreak, and resilience, and discover that while her name has changed again and again, her spirit never has.

Relax on board and let me introduce you to the pioneers, reformers, artists, entrepreneurs, and delightful troublemakers who left their mark on Amelia Island. Their stories are funny, heartbreaking, inspiring, and occasionally outrageous - ones to tuck inside your suitcase and carry back home with you. Because this island's story has always been their story too. Sometimes, history is just waiting for someone who's willing to tell it.

Amelia After Dark: A Haunted History (90 minutes)

When the sun goes down, Amelia's streets tell different stories.
Ride with us through the island's darker corners as legends, mysteries, and local ghost stories come to life. You'll meet restless spirits, tragic lovers, notorious villains, and other colorful characters who refuse to leave town. Equal parts history, folklore and fun, this evening offers just enough chills to make you glance over your shoulder and just enough laughter to keep you coming back. By the end of the evening, you'll understand why some stories simply refuse to stay buried. Recommended for ages 13 and up. Guests under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.

Sacred Spaces: A Reverent Look at the Places Amelia Calls Holy

An informed and contemplative look at many of Amelia Island's most cherished sites — from historic sanctuaries to our sacred Nana Dunes to the graveside of our Angels of Mercy, this tour travels through many of the sacred spaces that have anchored this community for generations. An interesting journey through architecture and nature, a meaningful journey for the soul.
